This breakfast is healthy, it’s delicious, it has chocolate, my toddler will eat a huge portion of it, and he calls it cake! It also works well as a brunch, snack, treat or dessert. The only problem is that you won’t want to stop eating it. But at least it’ll keep you full for a few hours and has a lot of goodness in it. 50g of chocolate chips is probably enough, but 100g makes it really chocolatey!
200ml soy milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
100g strawberries, chopped
50-100g dark chocolate chips
3 cups oats
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Blend the milk, whole strawberries, maple syrup and bananas until smooth.
Mix the milky fruity mixture with the oats, chopped strawberries and chocolate chips in a large bowl.
Pour the mixture into a loaf tin and press it in firmly.
Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden on top.
Enjoy on it’s own or with extra milk.
