My 3 year old, Rian, usually drinks water but loves juice as a treat. I prefer him to drink fresh juice so I know there are loads of vitamins in it and it’s a good way to get extra fruit and veg into his diet. This is a really nice juice, still sweet enough that kids will like it, with a good balance of fruit and veg juices. Beetroot is really healthy and makes it an amazing colour. You can water it down for young kids or just add a splash of it to water to flavour it if you want.
(Makes 2 glasses)
2 medium carrots
1 medium beetroot
1 inch of fresh ginger
How it’s made:
Juice the oranges using a citrus juicer. Peel or scrub the carrots and beetroot and peel the ginger. Put them through a juicer.
Mix all the juices and serve straight away preferably.
